Victorian Opal & Diamond Engraved Bangle

There are pieces you wear, and then there are pieces you keep forever. This is very much the latter.

An extraordinary Victorian bangle crafted in 14k gold and set with natural opals and diamonds, arranged in an intricate scrolling design. The opals glow with flashes of blue and green, while the diamonds add just the right amount of sparkle. Beautiful hand-etched detailing runs all the way around the band, making this piece just as lovely from the back as it is from the front.

The openwork design is full of graceful movement and tiny gold details, and the bangle is finished with a secure safety clasp. It is marked 14k and tests as 14k gold. The natural diamonds are estimated at approximately 0.30 carat total weight. The bangle is a size 6.5, measuring approximately 2.5" across and 2.5" vertically, and weighs 14.26 grams. It remains in excellent antique condition for its age.
