Vintage Venetian Millefiori Graduated Glass Bead Necklace

A whole garden of tiny flowers, transformed into glass. This wonderfully colorful necklace is made from graduated Venetian millefiori beads, each one revealing its own little arrangement of flowers, stars, and geometric patterns in vivid reds, blues, greens, yellows, and white.

Millefiori means “a thousand flowers” in Italian, referring to the technique of layering and fusing colored glass canes before slicing them to reveal intricate patterns. The result is wonderfully mesmerizing—no two beads quite look the same.

The beads are graduated from smaller along the sides to larger statement beads at the center, creating a beautiful necklace with plenty of color and personality.
